About
A small kitchen with one obsession.
Margherita Pizzeria is a wood-fired pizzeria on Alexandra Parade. Six tables, a busy delivery and collection counter, and a short menu we can do properly.
Why we do it the slow way.
We opened on Alexandra Parade because we wanted a neighbourhood pizzeria in our own neighbourhood — somewhere you could walk to after work, stop in on a Tuesday, or order for the family on a Friday night without it feeling like a fuss.
Our dough is made in-house every day and given a long, cold ferment. It's softer, lighter and easier to digest than the quick-rise kind. We fire each pizza in a wood-burning oven in about 90 seconds — leoparded crust, puffy edges, properly cooked toppings.
The menu is short on purpose. We'd rather do a Margherita brilliantly than do fifty pizzas badly. We change a few specials with the seasons, and we'll always tell you when something is at its best.
Whether you're eating in our dining room, picking up at the counter, or having dinner delivered across the East End, our promise is the same: real ingredients, real cooking, and a real welcome.
What we care about.
Dough first
Long cold-ferment, made fresh in-house, never rushed. The base of everything we do.
Wood-fired heat
Real wood, real flame, ~450°C. About 90 seconds in the oven. No shortcuts on the bake.
Short menu, done well
Classics done properly beat a long menu done averagely. We'd rather perfect a few pizzas than try to be everything.
Local at heart
We're part of the East End. We deliver within 5 miles of G31 3BU because that's the neighbourhood we want to feed well.
Honest pricing
No hidden fees on the menu. Live delivery fees and minimum orders are shown at checkout.
Everyone welcome
Families, friends, dates, solo diners. Six tables means it's quiet enough to talk and busy enough to feel alive.
